I can not wait to spend Christmas eve with my family. No words can explain the faces and excitement in the voices of children and adults alike as we gather together to eat, drink, and unwrap too many presents. Wrapping paper galore covers the floor, the smell of food fills the air, toys fill the hallways, and giggles can be heard in every room. One day Mike & I hope to hear a giggle that we can call our own, until then may the spirit of Christmas from my nieces and nephews be all we need. ( I can't wait to post pics of this night )
Although we have so much fun Christmas eve & day with our earthly family, it's my heavily Father that made this time possible to be together, healthy & happy with all our needs provided for. I'm so thankful that a baby was born to us this day in a manger, to save us, show us mercy and grace, comfort and heal, provide and conquer. I pray this Christmas for healing, comfort, and joy all around the world; especially to Colombia this Christmas FELIZ NAVIDA!
Oh little town of Bethlehem, how still we see thee lie!
Above thy deep and dreamless sleep the silent stars go by.
Yet in thy dark streets shineth the everlasting light.
The hopes and fears of all the years are met in thee tonight.
...the hopes and fears of all the years are met in thee tonight…
