Come what May

Everything that touches our life has passed through the hands of our Lord. Isn't that comforting. Waiting should be a time and place of rest and relaxation instead I sometimes find myself tense, frustrated, or lonely. Some days are harder that others. I try so hard not to let my self drift into self pity but when the heart is half filled the body knows. Something that scares me even more and some of you might think I'm crazy but after we get our first child I have to wait on our second and third (maybe fourth)...that means this is just the beginning. I will be forever grateful for one child but I love children and I want a large family, children are such a blessing and we want to be fully blessed. So as I think about having our first child I worry about the rest of  them, where will they come from, when will they come...
Maybe they will come from..... www.hopingtoadopt.org! It is a FREE service to set up an adoption profile. I set ours up today and I'm so excited to be able to get the word out in other ways. In the adoption world we call it networking but I don't really like that term its not a business deal its a life and we are looking for a generous birth parent to share this journey with. Besides starting up with this new site we had a friend of the family contact us that works in delivery and labor. She is able to talk with girls that may not have a plan yet, so she will give our information out if someone is interested. It's people like that, that I'm so glad God brought into our life. It's what gets me up everyday knowing that today could be the day. It's called HOPE.

Just the Same
By Diana Lynn Lacey

Sometimes—
God sends rain
Straight from the sky
To nourish the young flower
and it grows.

Sometimes—
God sends rain from the sky
To the mountaintops,
Then over hills and through valleys
Until it reaches the flower
and it grows, just the same.

Sometimes—
God sends a child
Straight from His realm
Into a mother’s arms
and love grows.

Sometimes—
God sends a child
From heaven to another’s arms,
Then over hills and through valleys
Until he reaches the arms of his mother
and love grows, just the same.
