One day our daughter will ask about where she came from and about her family and we will have answers because we have spent many days with Bobbie. We enjoy our open relationship as far as we feel comfortable and she respects that. Saturday we took her and her son to a "splash pad" downtown and enjoyed watching her son play, who knows maybe one day we will see characteristics in our daughter that he has. After we dropped them off at home I took Mike to Mel's hot dogs, only the best dog in town! as we were sitting there Bobbie sent some real heartwarming texts about our day together. We both felt very positive about our time together. Another day down, another day towards becoming parents to this precious lil gem.

Jeremiah 1:5
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew
you,
before you were born I set you apart;
I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”
It's set we are having a baby shower! With adoption it's true you just never know what will take place till after those 48 hours and the parental rights are signed over to us but we can not dwell on things we can not change. We are moving forward with the highest hopes that this baby is ours and we want to celebrate every moment like so. As I was online setting up different registries I came across this at Babies R' Us...
Pretty neat how they recognize adoption!
