a few good things

Time to whip out our sign again! Our community Westchase holds 2 HUGE garage sales during the year. We have been collecting stuff from around our house and we were given a bunch of stuff from my parents so hopefully we will have another successful sale. Stop by if you can! Saturday May 7, 8am-1pm.

Mothers Day is coming up and I can think of a few good mom's who really deserve today but especially my mom, my best friend. To walk through the valley with her, to see the view from the mountain tops with her I put my focus on my family how precious they are and if Mike & I never have our own family I would thank God everyday for the one I have to call my own.
To all of us who are waiting to be moms Laura Bush's book "Spoken from the Heart" has a pretty good view of what we may be experiencing:
"The English language lacks the words to mourn an absence. For the loss of a parent, grandparent, spouse, child or friend, we have all manner of words and phrases, some helpful some not. Still we are conditioned to say something, even if it is only “I’m sorry for your loss.” But for an absence, for someone who was never there at all, we are wordless to capture that particular emptiness. For those who deeply want children and are denied them, those missing babies hover like silent ephemeral shadows over their lives. Who can describe the feel of a tiny hand that is never held?"

we look so young! (2004)

On to Cinco de Mayo! Celebrating good times and 7 years of success! My brother & I started Peterson's Service Corp. with our dad on May 5, 2004 and through a tough economy we are still here and ready for many many more years to come. We have been blessed beyond belief and are so thankful for all who work with us and supported us throughout the years. Find out what we do here: www.dumpsterpros.com

Not only have I been blessed in work but Mike in the last week became part of the TACT team. He went through intense training and was selected from a few hundred people. His job has its obstacles but when the day or should I say night is over he returns home safely and that's all I ask.
