Big day ahead

So today Mike and I will go with Bobbie to her ultrasound she should be right around 29 weeks and hopefully our little peanut grew a lot more too! I'm anxious to see her sweet lil body again and this time is she puts on a show we will get a 3D look, how exciting! I am hoping that this appointment eases our worry about a too early delivery.

We can't believe it has been a year since we started the adoption process. What a year it has been and how much we learned about adoption. This year flew by I guess because we were always so busy with the "next" step. We have gone from a huge international agency to a small attorney's office right in our hometown. We have gone from Colombia to Tampa. We have gone from boy to girl. We learned first hand how much adoption really costs. We have learned to forgive, forget, and move on for our own sanity. We have gone from closed adoption to open. We have gone from one race to all races. With all these changes and moves time crept up on us and it is time to renew our home study. So with that a social worker will be visiting our home tonight. Thankfully all our paperwork was much easier to complete since we decided on domestic adoption, tonight will be the final piece of our home study before the state of Florida says "YES" you can bring your baby home!
