Baby Steps

Just received this email from the Orlando Intercountry Adoption Worker at Bethany Christian Services:

Ashley and Michael,

  Thank you for your formal application submission!  I reviewed it and have sent it to our Director for review and then it will go to our National Colombia department for review.  Please give us a few days to complete this process.  I am very excited to start working with you and your family!

We did it! The formal application is complete and sent off. Mike & I are so excited even though the road may be long it will adventurous.
Is it weird that I already feel guilty spending any "extra" money I have? I just had my hair cut and colored and when I checked out I thought that money could be going to our baby boy/girl. I'm sure when women find out they are pregnant they go through the same emotions. Well saving has began at the Dice household.
